Big storm coming this weekend and I had to get my new generator hooked up to the house before the almost certain power outages. Steve at Granite State understood my sense of urgency and applied his own to getting the interlock ordered and on site in time. Scott, the electrician Steve sent, got right to work and the installation was very professionally done. The only snag was with the design of the interlock not quite fitting my junction box, but Scott fixed that and it’s working now ready for whatever comes. Scott stayed through the testing by shutting down all power to the house and firing up the generator. We ran lights, stove, water pump, etc. and they worked without hesitation and minimal effort by the generator. You may find an electrician cheaper, you will certainly find them more expensive, but none more straight forward, honest or professional than these guys. Steve called to check with me on the work being done and answered all my questions. He even suggested and will install an alarm for me to let me know when city power is restored. We don’t have city lights way out here to indicate that. Steve and Granite State will do all of my electrical work from now on because I trust them and I know they’ll give me the best advice and service for the best price. What more could you ask for?
